KC Roofing & Scaffolding Ltd works on felt-covered flat roofs across London and Essex for homeowners, landlords and commercial property managers. Established in 1992, we assess leaks and deterioration, explain repair or replacement options and provide a written scope before work is agreed.
We look at accessible roof coverings, joints, upstands, edge details and drainage. Damaged decking or trapped moisture can change the proposed work. An overlay is considered only where the existing roof is suitable; it is not a universal solution.
Preparation, insulation requirements, outlets and junctions are planned around the building and chosen system. Where hot works form part of the method, necessary precautions and site controls are planned. Access and scaffolding needs are discussed in advance.
Local defects may be suitable for compatible repairs. Widespread deterioration can make replacement more practical. Keeping outlets clear and arranging an assessment when defects appear can help identify problems before further damage develops.
Suitability depends on the cause of the leak and the condition of the covering and deck. We explain whether local repair, wider remedial work or replacement is appropriate.
An assessment is needed to establish whether the existing covering and substrate can support an overlay. Moisture, drainage and condition must be considered.
Applicable guarantees are explained in the quotation and contract. Eligible new-roof work may qualify for a company guarantee and a separately issued insurance-backed guarantee, subject to the agreed terms. These are not blanket cover for every repair.
Call 07947 455000, email info@kccs.co.uk or send an enquiry. Include your postcode, roof problem and safely taken photos. Formal roof surveys are separately scoped and any fee is agreed beforehand.
